The historic Brandon Inn flanks the village green and is the center-piece of the charming, New England town of Brandon, Vermont. A full country breakfast is included in the overnight guest rate. The four-storied Brandon Inn has 39 guest rooms, all with private bath. On the main floor is The Lobby, Dining Rooms, Pub and Ballroom, and there is an elevator available which accesses all rooms. Each guest room has air conditioning, a clock radio, and a telephone. Although there are not televisions in the individual rooms, guests may watch the large screen television in the main living room or a TV in one of our two public TV rooms. The Brandon Inn started out as a single story tavern built back in 1786 by Jacob Simons. Since then the Inn has under gone many transformations. The Inn is now considered as a Dutch Colonial Style building listed with the National Register of Historic Buildings. Today the Brandon Inn retains all of its elegance and charm as it did in the earlier days. The Brandon Inn has a lovely closed-in front porch which is a lovely place to rock in your chair and watch the people strolling by, or simply read a book. Also, there is an outdoor pool which is open during the summer months. |

A LITTLE
ABOUT Louis and Sarah Pattis acquired the Inn in February of 1988. Louis is Austrian with a strong hotel background including being an award winning Austrian-trained Chef. Sarah is from England, she worked as an Occupational therapist, both in the States and abroad before becoming an Innkeeper. (She says the two jobs have many similarities!) They have four children, Mark, Anna, Nickolaus and Rebecca. Mark is currently serving in the Military, Anna and Nick are attending University and Becca attends the local high school. Anna, Nick and Becca continue to work at the Inn. |

Louis states, "We think of ourselves as caretakers of a little piece of Vermont history. We take our responsibilities very much to heart, as we continually try to upgrade and improve the Inn without endangering the timeless historic nature of the building." It is their belief that they are privileged to be part of the living history at the Inn. They consider themselves to be lucky to be part of a small town community like Brandon, with its many historic buildings and strong community spirit. " Brandon is Vermont's sleeping beauty, not quite discovered, and we like it that way," says Louis The Pattis's sincerely hope you have an opportunity to relax, discover and enjoy what the Brandon Inn has to offer.
