Historic Ambiance with
Gracious Hospitality
As one of the oldest inns in the continental U.S., the Brandon Inn traces
its roots back more than two hundred years to 1786, when Jacob Simonds
opened a small, one story tavern on the Brandon Village Green.
Today,
the Brandon Inn retains all the old world elegance and charm of its earlier
days. Though time has passed and many changes have taken place at the
Inn, the spirit of hospitality has endured, and the Pattis's are keenly
attuned to the needs of their guests. Together, they have created a remarkably
personable and cozy atmosphere that make weddings very, very special.
Constructed in the Dutch Colonial style of marble, brick, and wood, the
Inn has a spaciousness that is unique throughout New England. The Pier
Mirror Ballroom, for example, with its pillars, high ceilings, paddle
fans, hardwood floors, and collections of fabulous mirrors, glows in the
evening and makes for very special receptions. |

Wedding
Receptions in Vermont!
Imagine
your bride drifting down the broad staircase to the admiration of friends
gathered in the parlor by a crackling fire. She is radiant, and there
is a toast. Laughter. Firelight. The piano plays a family favorite. Exquisite
hors d'oeuvres circulate discreetly. It is a moment to remember. And there
are many more to come. The Elegant Pier
Mirror Ballroom lends itself to the wedding ceremony, cocktails and dancing
after dinner. The Garden Room with its French doors onto the pool terraces
and barbeque area lends itself to casual barbecues or rehearsals with
an outdoor feel and theme. The Seeley Estabrook Dining Room combined with
adjoining Wicker Room and Garden Room can accommodate up to 230 people.
Or, as the sun is setting, on our sweeping back lawns, bordered by the Neshobe River, a reception under a white tent. With such spaciousness
and flexibility, all ceremonies and receptions are possible at the Inn.
